Alongside rebuilt hardware and a reimagined app, Apollo 2.0 introduces Apollo Care: three service pillars created to give riders real, long-term peace of mind. Apollo Care brings together smarter diagnostics, Apple Find My theft protection, meaningful extended coverage and a service network designed for speed and convenience. In short: your scooter gets smarter, and your ownership experience gets easier.

Apollo Care Protect — Extended protection for the unexpected

Every rider knows that daily use brings wear and the occasional surprise. Apollo Care Protect is our extended-coverage program built for how people actually ride. Riders can add a one- or two-year full-coverage plan that protects batteries, electronics and critical components — on top of Apollo 2.0’s industry-leading promises, including a lifetime frame warranty across the lineup. These plans are designed to reduce anxiety about expensive repairs and help keep daily riders on the road.

Why it matters: Extended coverage means fewer surprise bills and a lower total cost of ownership for daily riders and commuters.

Apollo Care Secure — Added peace of mind against theft and loss

Theft is a top concern for scooter owners. Apollo Care Secure (formerly discussed internally as Apollo Protect) combines best-in-class location tech and recovery support to make theft recovery realistic — not just hopeful. Apollo 2.0’s DOT 2.0 display includes Apple Find My integration so riders can use the same global ecosystem people trust to locate missing devices. To keep tracking reliable even when the scooter is powered down, Apollo engineered the display module with an auxiliary battery dedicated to powering Find My — preserving tracking without compromising durability or waterproofing. On top of hardware and tracking, Apollo Care Secure layers in operational recovery support so a location ping becomes a real pathway to recovery.

Why it matters: Integrated, always-on tracking plus recovery workflows means riders have a credible option to find and recover a lost scooter — not just a best-case scenario.

Apollo Care Maintain — Priority service and long-term upkeep

Good maintenance is fast, transparent and predictable. Apollo Care Maintain is our priority servicing program: scooters are designed to be serviceable, parts are standardized, and repairs are handled through partner repair centers with clear SLAs. Apollo 2.0 scooters use modular layouts and standardized components, which speeds up common repairs and reduces parts confusion. The Apollo app adds AI-powered diagnostics and repair booking so riders can diagnose an issue from their phone, book a repair and track progress — turning service from a phone call into a click-and-track experience.

Why it matters: Less downtime, predictable costs and faster repairs keep scooters on the road and riders moving.

How Apollo Care connects hardware and software

Apollo 2.0 intentionally treats service as a design constraint. Software features like RangeAI and in-app diagnostics work hand-in-hand with DOT 2.0 hardware and Apollo Care services: RangeAI tunes your scooter for better real-world range and ride behavior, while continuous diagnostics watch dozens of signals (battery health, motor temperature, firmware state, braking behavior) to catch issues early and route riders to the right service path. In practice, that means a scooter that gets smarter and a service experience that gets faster and simpler.

 

Availability & eligibility

  • Launch timing: Apollo Care (Protect, Secure and Maintain) is expected to roll out beginning Q2 2026, when Apollo 2.0 service tooling and partner networks reach scale. The Apollo 2026 product roadmap anticipates key Apollo 2.0 models coming online in early–mid 2026, supporting coordinated product and service availability.

  • Eligibility: Apollo Care services are available for Apollo 2.0 models only. That means the full Apollo Care suite — Apollo Care Protect (extended coverage), Apollo Care Secure (integrated theft protection) and Apollo Care Maintain (priority servicing) — is reserved for the new Apollo 2.0 lineup so services can rely on the platform’s modular design, DOT 2.0 hardware and built-in diagnostics. This eligibility ensures the highest-quality experience and reliable diagnostics across the service network.

  • Exception — theft coverage for older scooters: We will also support owners of older Apollo scooters who want theft protection. For riders of earlier Apollo models, we’ll sell a separate Apple Find My tracker that can be installed on any Apollo scooter. Customers who purchase that tracker will be able to buy theft-coverage and recovery support tied to the tracker — so even if an older scooter lacks DOT 2.0 hardware, riders can still access a meaningful theft-recovery pathway. (The built-in Apollo Care Secure experience with DOT 2.0 remains exclusive to Apollo 2.0 models.)

Q: What’s the difference between Apollo Care Protect, Secure and Maintain?

  • Protect: Extended coverage for components and systems (one or two years), supplementing the lifetime frame warranty.

  • Secure: Theft prevention and recovery built on Apple Find My, always-on hardware tracking and recovery support (DOT 2.0 integration for Apollo 2.0 models; separate Find My tracker available for older scooters).

Q: When can I sign up?
Apollo Care will begin to be available in Q2 2026 for Apollo 2.0 models. Exact enrollment windows, launch promotions and plan pricing will be announced on apolloscooters.co and through official Apollo channels as we approach the rollout.

Q: Can I buy theft coverage for my older Apollo scooter?
Yes. We’ll offer a separate Apple Find My tracker (sold separately) that can be installed on any Apollo scooter; coverage and recovery support can be purchased for that tracker so older scooters can benefit from theft protection even without DOT 2.0 hardware.
