Sett Up Your Apollo Scooter

Unbox Your Scooter:

After unboxing your scooter, you should have the scooter itself, a charger, a charging cable, and a toolkit. Make sure everything is present and in good condition.

Assemble your scooter:

    1. To assemble your scooter, start by gently raising the scooter's stem until it locks in place. Be cautious not to damage the attached handlebars. Secure it by locking the folding latch to keep it upright.
    2. Connect the Communication Cable. Attach both ends of the blue Communication cable properly by following the arrows on each end. Tuck the wires inside the stem.
    3. Attach the Handlebars. Use the stem screws from the toolkit to attach the handlebars securely to the stem. This step is crucial for steering control.

Understand The Control Panel

You can control all of the key features of your scooter using the buttons & throttles on your handlebars. Here's what each of them activates

Right-Side Controls

  • Power Button: Hold it for 3 seconds to power on the scooter.
  • Right Turn Signal: Press once to activate, again to deactivate.
  • Accelerator Throttle: Gradually push it down to accelerate your scooter.

Left-Side Controls:

  • Mode Button: Press once to toggle lights on/off, press twice to switch between trip and lifetime odometers.
  • Left Turn Signal: Press once to activate, again to deactivate.
  • Regen Brake Throttle: Gradually push it down to apply regenerative braking.

Test Your Scooter

  • Throttle and Brakes: Test the accelerator throttle and regen brake throttle for smooth operation. Ensure the brakes stop the scooter effectively.
  • Adjust your Drum Brakes:
    • City: Test both front and rear drum brakes.
    • Air: Test the rear drum brake.

Adjust braking strength as needed using the metal knobs on the brake lines.

Charge Your Scooter

Charge your scooter using the provided standard charger. Plug it into the wall first and then into your scooter. Remember not to leave it plugged in for extended periods of time.

The Apollo App

Unlocking Top Speed:

Access the app to unlock the top speed for your scooter. Remember also to adjust the top speed limits for each gear via the app.

Track your rides:

The app offers ride tracking, allowing you to set default locations, receive navigation assistance, and get accurate remaining mileage estimates.

Safety Features:

You can unlock your scooter using face recognition or fingerprint ID through the app.

Safety Precautions

Before hitting the road, ensure you have proper safety equipment, including a quality helmet. Find a quiet, open area to practice riding, get familiar with the brakes, and adjust them to your preference. Always keep your eyes on the road for a safe and enjoyable ride.
